*So, you may wonder what herbs and plants to bring? Now this is an excellent question, and I cannot give you a singular answer as it will heavily depend on where you live and what you have access too. I can tell you what I am bringing:
- Mugwort
- Juniper berries
- Rosemary
- Amber powder
- Yarrow
- Pine needles
If you would like to make a more easily accessible version here are my grocery store recommendations for a wintery incense blend:
- Bay Leaves (used for cooking so most grocery stores have them in the spice section)
- Juniper berries (optional, some grocery stores may have them)
- Dried Orange skins (Peel an orance, and bake the skins on low-medium for one or two hours or until they are completely dried out)
- Rosemary (common kitchen herb)
- Kitchen Sage (common kitchen herb, not to be confused with white sage!)
- Cinnamon, preferably sticks but ground works too
